Meet The Vet
Dr. Shermaine Wilson Cox attended Tuskegee University College of Veterinary Medicine in Tuskegee, Alabama and graduated magna cum laude with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in May, 2014. After veterinary school, she went on to do a 2 year laboratory animal medicine residency followed by a 1 year fellowship at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. After completing her fellowship, Dr. Wilson Cox decided to practice small animal medicine, mainly treating dogs, cats, and some exotics
Dr. WIlson Cox currently resides in Stone Mountain, GA with son Caivon, 3 dogs Cuevo, Shadow, Marlee, and Bama the bunny rabbit. Her hobbies include spending time with her loved ones, traveling the world, and relaxing on the beach.
